Geocache Description:

A simple puzzle that uncovers some of the history of the Port of Clevedon.

Over 100 years ago Clevedon was a busy port. At the co-ordinates above you can read all about it. You will find a display board and monument, thanks to the Clevedon Historic Society.

This is an interesting corner of local history, take a moment to reflect on what it might have been like back then.

To find the cache you will need to find the answers to the following:

A = 1/5 the weight of the Cutter Rapid
B = The third digit of the year of the big flood pictured on the Board.
C = The third digit in the year that water transport ceased.

X = The last digit of the year that Viola arrived.
Y = How many commercial craft plied the river? Minus 4.
Z = The last digit of the year the current bridge opened.

S36.59.ABC E175.02.XYZ

The usual story - mind the kids around water, and theres a busy road nearby.
