The Condie reservoir was created when a dam was erected in
the south west corner. Its waters have been stocked with perch,
however, I have never seen anyone actively fishing here.
Motor-powered boats are NOT allowed on its waters but you
may use non-motor-powered watercrafts such a a canoe or row boat.
This reservoir also serves as a main water supply for the wild life
in the area.
The cache is located in the Conde Game Refuge area. Great
place to spend a day to hike on the trails and observe wild life.
Enjoy a brief rest stop when travelling #11 highway (use Exit "A")
and see all the wild life in this area. The deer, beaver, muskrats,
ducks, geese, birds, and rabbits roam this area, and yes, if
you’re lucky, you may even see pheasants.
This Refuge area is "closed from sunset to
sunrise".
You will looking for a large cammoed ammo can. Remember to
trade fairly.
All good cachers will always carry a
writing implement and also replace the cache "exactly" where they
found it!
