Nehalem City Park-grassy, on a hill
City park on top of hill- good parking, play structure, BBQ and tables available. Outstanding view of Saddle Mt., Onion Peak, Nehalem River, valley and the Nehalem Bay. Part time hangout of the local Elk herd, please do not spook them and be advised that they are large, curious and will charge if they feel in danger. If the Elk are not at the park look for them in the flat meadow at the base of the hill, bay side.
