This particular cache is inspired by Cromscout & Trouble'N'Strife and part of a nationwide Off Yer Trolley! cache series.
Sister cache to Off Yer Trolley! (Guiseley – Wot No Petrol). http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=429a9350-0995-4e36-b0ff-cd9068bae6c7 Off Yer Trolley! caches are intended to provide fairly easy drive-by caches together with the opportunity to CITO in their recycling area and nip in to do the shopping at the same time or even escape the shopping for "The need to cache". This cache is within the grounds of a well known national supermarket chain’s petrol station. As far as I know this site is unique for this particular chain, with the exception of one other (Banbury) all petrol stations are normally located within the confines of the supermarket complex. This is a "stand alone" petrol station. No recycling here - but no excuses for not CITO recycling - the local recycling centre is the next left at traffic lights after the petrol station. Picked for (1) sheer annoyance factor, in the midst of muggles and therefore (slightly) technically difficult and (2) A good opportunity for a CITO. The GPS Co-ordinates have been averaged! Depending on which way the GPSr was pointing (at the spot) determined the accuracy around 16ft. The store offers a petrol station and an associated convenience store. The cache is best described as 35mm film canister size, and not big enough to store anything other than the obligitary a log sheet, please bring something to write with. To be stealthy it is suggested you park off the A65 on Crofters Lea, which lies just to the South of the cache. From here you can approach the cache along the pavement of the A65, and avoid having to park in the Petrol Station which is very busy. Stealth and cunning will be required. DO NOT ATTEMPT AT SCHOOL ARRIVAL OR KICKING OUT TIMES. AS WITH ALL MY CACHES - DO NOT POST A FIND IF YOU HAVE NOT FOUND THE PLASTIC . ANY LOGS ALONG THE LINES “I WENT BUT THE CACHE HAD GONE MISSING SO I’M CLAIMING IT ANYWAY” WILL BE DELETED
