Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This land is Game Production Area land, in Region III, and as such, cannot be used for geocaching.
The coordinates listed are BOGUS. They will NOT lead you to a cache: it was removed, by direction of The South Dakota Region III manager, of The South Dakota Department of Game, Fish, &, Parks. GPA land may still be used for access, ingress, egress, exit, and a variety of other uses, such as bird watching, and of course hunting, but NOT for geocaching. You may still use a GPS (since it may still be used for bird watching, or, hunting), just don't go to the same spot, unless you are bird watching, or, hunting.
Since hunting does take place here, it is a very good idea to wear orange/bright colors, so that you are not mistaken for a sign, and shot (check out the signs, in the area, and you will see that this is a very real possibility).
Just like the free space, in bingo, you don't have to do anything, to claim a find for any of these 3 locations (except log it as a find, on geocaching.com). This/these geocaches are a new breed of geocache, the pseudocache, where you can only wish/think that the cache container were still here (it isn't, I removed it, &, it is sitting on the floor of my living room, with the other two--don't worry, you don't have to come here to sign the logs). I would like to thank the people who did visit the caches that were placed in these area, until 5/11/2008: I seriously doubt that you had a negative impact on the habitat, but then that is just my opinion (obviously). The cache site has not been archived, or disabled, so go out & do whatever GF&P says is legal, because I am not, in any way, advocating that you violate this, or any law, regulation, ordinance, or, opinion by anyone, with the authority to pronounce it (no matter how much I may agree or disagree with it).
