Geocache Description:

Located along the French Creek near the old Rapp's Dam. This dam has been gone for years, but you can still see the remains of it and the chase that sent water to the mill downstream. I've tried to find out some accurate historical info on this dam, but after several nights of searching the web, I could find nothing. If anyone knows any factual historic information about this dam and how it was destroyed, please let me know. This is not a difficult find...it's purpose is to get you to this spot.
