Geocache Description:

#16 in the Courthouse Series started by ccindyy/bubb. The Sheriff's and Probate Judge's offices are aware of and gave permission for placement of this cache.

Crenshaw County was established on November 30, 1866. It is named in honor of Judge Anderson Crenshaw. Luverne is the county seat, was founded in 1889 and had its beginning as a result of the railroad. This courthouse was built in 1955.

Listed coordinates are an average of my readings with 12-13 ft. accuracy.

Log only so bring the writing implement of your choice as there is not one in the container. Log is on Rite in the Rain paper. If it seems damp, wipe off and/or let it air out a moment or two. It should then be good to go. It is also easier to put the log into the top of the container when replacing.

Thanks to Charles, Sandra, Doug and Cille in the Courthouse for their assistance in placing this cache (and they may be watching you hunt).

Congratulations to Pilfering for FTF!
