Geocache Description:

Event will take place at the Posted Coordinates, the river has gone down quite a bit.

Come one, come all, lets have a Big Party!

Located in Winfield, Kansas at the Fair Grounds.

This will be hopefully the first of an annual Geo-Bash in the South-Central Kansas reigon. I would like to grow this into a large event attracting many caches from all around.
Winfield, Kansas has lots to offer when you come here, there are many caches of varying difficulties, many places to eat and places to stay.

We will be meeting at 5:00 PM on Saturday June 21, 2008 at the Fairgrounds in Winfield.

We have reserved a smaller pavilion that will have a few tables but you will most likely want to bring your lawn chairs and picnic supplies(PLEASE NO ALCOHOL THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT).
We will set up some sepecial caches just for the day and there will be some new listings for regular caches in the area placed near the meeting place. Please if you have kids bring them along we will have room for them to run and play.

To all who have kids please state their ages so we can get some appropriate swag for the ages.

We will also be placing a few day caches of different trial containers that will be released into the open after the event.

How Accurate is your GPS?? We will have a place for you to check your coordinates and submit them for an Ammo Can Ready To Go! All you need to do is Mark your GPS at the noted location and write down you coords and your screen name on the form and the closest to accurate will win!

I am hoping to make this a great event and hopefully adding more things in the days to come.
