Geocache Description:

Scadson Scamper

In an area of woodland tucked in a valley between Cockington, Preston, and Marldon there's a little stream which feeds into Hollicombe Lake. Alongside this stream is a public footpath, part of which is along the John Musgrave Heritage Trail ( see John_Musgrave_Heritage_Trail )

The cache is located about 100 metres from the road, and at the time of hiding had a good selection of GeoSwag. Also at the time of hiding, the GPS signal was reasonably good, but there may be problems with leaf cover in the summer, and the hint may be required.

I would suggest that fairly substantial footwear be used in searching for this cache.

On 1st May 2010, this cache will be listed solely on Opencaching - the geocaching.com listing will be archived
