Geocache Description:

ALLEGHENY SCAVENGER HUNT CHALLENGE

ENJOY THE JOURNEY as well as the DESTINATION

THIS IS A CHALLENGE CACHE.
You must read the cache page for requirements to log this cache.
Failure to follow the listed rules WILL result in your log being deleted.

Find 26 caches WITHIN THE ALLEGHENY NATIONAL FOREST REGION (PA),
one for each letter of the alphabet.
Discover the wonder that exists WITHIN THE CITIES AND TOWNS BORDERING THE ALLEGHENY NATIONAL FOREST. Find two caches in each of the following locations:
Bradford - Johnsonburg - Kane - Marienville - Mount Jewett
Ridgway - Sheffield - St. Marys - Tionesta - Warren

The posted coordinates are for parking. Solve the puzzle to determine the actual cache coordinates. Park on Droney Road. Begin by walking along the old railroad grade. Cache is located near the creek, about 100' downhill from the trail. My dad enjoyed sitting on the rock amidst the running water, with his four-legged friend lying contentedly by his side.

ALLEGHENY NATIONAL FOREST REGION MAP
Elk, Forest, McKean, Warren Counties

RULES:

1) FIND a cache WITHIN THE ALLEGHENY NATIONAL FOREST REGION (PA) beginning with each letter of the English alphabet. The letter must be the first letter of the cache name. Any caches beginning with numbers are unacceptable. Acceptable finds are Traditional, Mystery, Multi, and Earth caches. Counties within the ANF Region are Elk, Forest, McKean, and Warren. A map of the region is available online and at the Ranger Stations.
NOTE - When using Allegheny GeoTrail caches, do not use the Project (AGT) or the County (Elk) as your first words. All caches must be within the four counties of the Allegheny National Forest Region. Archived and disabled caches count. Your hides also count.

NOTE - For these caches begin the title with the location. See my bookmark.

3) CREATE a shared/public bookmark list called ALLEGHENY SCAVENGER HUNT. This will keep track of your progress, as well as share your journey with other cachers. Bookmark this cache, but do not use it for an "A" because you haven't found it yet.

4) When you COMPLETE the challenge, post a note to this cache page for final approval. A look at your alphabetized bookmark list will indicate whether or not you have completed the challenge.

5) Once verified, you may seek the FINAL cache. Your log will be deleted if the final cache is found before the requirements are met. The posted coordinates are for parking on Droney Road. The actual cache coordinates can be found by solving the riddles.
