Ring Around the Roadsy Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

JUNGLE J: I have decided that I will close this one down permanently. There is an environmental problem with one of the redirects, and I now feel that caches should be more footwork than roadwork. I will explore using some of these areas with "shorter" caches. Thanks everyone for your patience! Jungle J

Geocache Description:

This is a five-part multi, four data-stops and a final cache. Each data-stop or stage requires considerable driving - they are well separated - and the final is a camoued PB jar a few hundred metres from a well-travelled road and parking lot. Given coordinates are for data-stop 1.

In this cache, I have worked hard to change a tradition on many of my multis. This time, most of the data-stop stages are different from each other. None of them are in film spools, either! On the good side, all are quite close to lite-use roads. The stages can be done in any order, and all their coordinates except the final are given in the waypoints. The final is not very close to any of the stages.
At each stage you must collect two numbers. The eight numbers you get will fill in the coordinate for the final. The Formula is given below. Some of the data-stops may have those numbers in containers, others immediately visible. Different, remember? To ensure you collect the two numbers you really need, and because many miscellaneous numbers are out there on trees, posts, and signs, I have included on each data-stop the initials "JJ" as well as the two numbers. No "JJ", not your numbers! Keep looking.

The order of the numbers is very important. As you find the stages, write in the numbers according to the chart below.

Data-stop 1: contains JJ C,H (where C = ___, H = ___)

Data-stop 2: contains JJ E,B (where E = ___, B = ___)

Data-stop 3: contains JJ F,A (where F = ___, A = ___)

Data-stop 4: contains JJ G,D (where G = ___, D = ___)

Assemble the final coordinates using this:

N 43 5 A . C E G W078 3 B . D F H

N 43 5___ . ___ ___ ___ W078 3 ___ . ___ ___ ___

Please return the caches carefully after you find them, and watch out in your various walking travels for burrs, thorns, and trippy sticks and vines. If there is less than two inches of snow, the cache is probably doable, but for winters like 2007, call it "not winter friendly". The size of the data-stops starts at "small" and goes down from there!

Note that the expressions given below for hints are indeed hints, but NOT in the order of the data-stops. Each applies - if you can figure out how - to one of the data-stops.
The high Terrain rating is a result of the long distances between the stages. The only stage which is at all physically difficult is the final one since it must be walked, and with good boots on.
