Geocache Description:

Geocaching Colorado

Congrats to Big Booty Bob FTF!!!

Quipu (sometimes called talking knots) were recording devices used in the Inca Empire and its predecessor societies in the Andean region. A quipu usually consisted of colored spun and plied thread or strings from llama or alpaca hair. It also consisted of cotton cords with numeric and other values encoded by knots in a base 10 positional system. Quipus may have just a few strands, but some have up to 2,000 strands.

I am currently a book that features a quipu that leads the group of adventurers to a huge treasure cache filled with gold and other priceless objects.

Now this multi/puzzle won't lead you to riches, but it may lead you to some fun and a nice walk with the final cache at the end. Each stage is on the small side. The final cache is a lock lock sandwich container.

You may want to bring this key with you.
