Along a very quiet part of the canal. No houses over looking it.
Wanted to place this on the canal but wanted to make sure it was a little away from the Fairfield Millennium Orchard cache. It can be reached if parking on Ashton Road.
You will have to walk away from the cache to get down to the canal side.
YOU CAN'T GET STRAIGHT TO THE CANAL NEAR THE BRIDGE !
The path was very muddy in places and i would say wellies would be a must ! Should dry out in the Summer.
If you want a longer walk and to view the lovely houses along the canal, park at the end of Aldcliffe road.
NO NEED TO MOVE ANY STONES !
Please make sure you push the cache far enough in, and re cover so it's not seen from the path.
