Geocache Description:

PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS GEOCACHE

Although you may be tempted to park along Route 44 and bushwhack your way in...please use the provided parking coordinates, which will bring you to Longleaf Pine Preserve's West entrance, then proceed East on foot to the trailhead. The cache is located just a short distance from the trailhead...about 1/10 mile from the parking area. This end of the preserve has been known to flood during rainy periods, I've located the cache close enough to the trailhead that you shouldn't have to swim to retrieve it, but you might get your feet wet...so consider yourself warned.

When I first started geocaching, back in January 2008, I found a cache named Nine of Diamonds in Florida, by Survivor Florida. When I discovered how that cache name originated, I decided that one day I would like to place a similar cache to get that process started again.

Inside this cache you will find a logbook, a pen, a deck of playing cards (including one Joker) and a small collection of micro caches. You must sign/date the logbook to claim your find. You also have the option to choose a card, then place a new cache (which must meet current Geocaching.com guidelines) named after the card you chose (e.g. The Virus - Ace of Spades, The Virus - King of Hearts, etc.). You don't have to include 'The Virus' in your name...that's merely a suggestion; however, I would like your card's name to be included so we can keep track of what cards have been taken/used.

If you choose the option to place a new cache, please include a note with the name and waypoint of the cache you placed. I'll build a list of those caches and include links in this description.

- Your new cache can be any size, any type, in any location (it must meet current Geocaching.com guidelines) you would like.
- I would like for your cache to be available to ALL members (please do NOT restrict it to Premium Members).

I've provided a few pre-made caches in this cache...you're welcome to take one for your cache placement. I didn't camo them because I have no idea where you might hide them.
This cache started with four 35mm, two bison tubes and one nano-size canister, contained in a ziploc...if you notice that supply is almost depleted, send me a message so I can add more containers. You do NOT need to use a provided container for your hide...if you prefer to place a Rubbermaid, Lock & Lock, or Ammo Can, by all means please do! Please, only take a container if you plan to place a cache.

The goal of this cache is to give back to the geocaching community by providing more caches for all of us to find!

Oh yeah, there is a "First To Find Buck" included in the logbook!
