Reservoir Hill is
located after a short hike up a paved trail at the now defunct
Hamilton Air Force Base.
This cache is near the recently ransacked, then archived
(11Apr2008)Hawk View (GCM2TX). As noted by the other cache owner
“It’s a great spot”. You can see the bay and beyond. Closer, you
can watch the old runways being slowly converted back to marshland
and nature. There are benches and two large mounted binoculars
(free to use – but local kids have been a bit hard on the
lens).
The cache is a camouflaged plastic film can. Bring your own
marking device. Coordinates determined from 9 satellites.
There is free, off road parking at the base of the hill for
about 4 cars.
