Galletta Meadows is on the valley floor in Borrego Springs. Located off of paved road with nice flat easy walking.
Galletta Meadows is private property that is open to the public for hiking, picnicing and photography. There are several areas on both the north and south ends of Borrego Springs. There are sign describing this at many location within the valley. This is the first cache in a series that will all be located with the meadows. California Historical Marker at parking area.
Update 10/25/2013, new signs have been erected and camping is no longer allowed.
