I hope you enjoy your walk along this trail. Thanks to the Chautauqua Rails to Trials for maintaining it for public use and allowing caches to be placed along it.
This is a small container placed across the trail from a beautiful beaver pond. No need to go down the bank. At one time this was a beaver dam but the dam is now gone and only the beaver house remains (not sure if there are still beavers here or not - have't seen one in a while). Please take the time to enjoy the beauty of the area. There are usually ducks on the pond so hopefully you can see some of them as well.
