Page in the history books: A walk in the past Multi-Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

The Seanachai: It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. As a courtesy to your fellow cachers, I would ask you to check on this cache as soon as you reasonably can and either confirm that it is in good shape, replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter.

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in about 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done and to see whether further action needs to be taken. Failure to respond could result in archival of the listing. Please note that geocaches archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance are not eligible for unarchival.
In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can re-enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name. Thank you.

Geocache Description:

History is the study of the past, particularly the written record and oral traditions passed down from generation to generation verbally. New technology, such as photography, sound recording, and motion pictures now complement the written word in the historical record. History is a field of research producing a continuous narrative and a systematic analysis of past events of importance to the human race.

The coordinates listed are for the first stage and at the first stage you are looking for last date on this historic marker, then to find stage 2 you will need to do the following:

N 36 18.( last three numbers of the last date on the board then add 106)

W 082 21.( last three numbers of the last date on the board and then subtract 429.)

Once at Stage Two you will again come to another historic marker and you take the very top date and do the following:

N 36 18.( the last three numbers on the board and add 53)

W 082 22.( the last three numbers on the board and subtract 823.)

The final is a bag under a brick.
