Geocache Description:

This cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. Following those coordinates will have you going around in circles. To find this cache, you must solve the puzzle below.

This puzzle revolves around a set of 6-letter words. (Yes, the puzzle's title is a big fat lie -- we like to think of it as a clever marketing gimmick.) To determine the cache's true location, begin with these quasi-coordinates:

N 40° blah blah blah W 086° blah blah blah

and follow these instructions:
  • Print the image below on a nice piece of card stock and cut out the ten pieces.
  • Well, no, you don't absolutely have to cut out the pieces and all, but we think it would be more fun that way.
  • Arrange the pieces in five rows of two cards each such that (a) each row contains a common six-letter English word and (b) the two-digit numbers where the cards meet are in numerical order, from top to bottom.
  • Got it? Okay, now the numbers going down the left side of the solution complete your north coordinate and the numbers going down the right side complete your west coordinate. You can check your solution via geochecker.com.
