Rana Pirica:
Hello,

It is Rana Pirica, the geocache maintenance frog, once again hopping through your area to check on geocache maintenance.

Geocache Description:

A short walk along a ridge to a creek that has a small seasonal waterfall and seasonal swimming holes that are popular with the local kids.

The cache can be approached from several angles, but here is the simplest route. Park near the small park at S17° 00.483 E145° 43.449 (The Knights of Templar say #41). From the park you can access a concrete footpath that will take you half way to the cache. You may want to rest on the bench that marks the point where you leave the footpath and follow the trail through the forest and almost straight to the cache.

The track is easy to follow, but there are some steep drops in places so geokiddies will need to be supervised - hence the name 'Along the Dragon's Back' as its like being up on a dragon's back.

After rain there are some deep swimming holes with a rope swing and a small waterfall. The place is popular with local muggle kids.

The cache is a 2lt clear plastic food jar just a few feet off the track.

The cache has space for lots of swaps, and started out with some reasonable swaps for geokiddies. Please try and swap with similar objects so the standard is maintained.
