Muddy Waters Traditional Cache
Coffee and Cache: All good things come to an end, and so it is with this. It's had a pretty good run so I'll retire it and look for a new location not too far away. - Thanks to all who came looking for it.

Cache is located along the Koonung Creek Trail, a favourite location for Coffee and Cache, and quite heavily cycled. The last few metres are a bit tricky, so please watch small Geokids.
The cache is named for Koonung Creek -- Koonung is said to mean 'muddy waters'. Great work seems to have been done revegetating this area (thanks Greenlink Box Hill?) so that despite the neighbouring freeway it's a pleasant spot. But the poor old creek itself is rated the unhealthiest waterway in Melbourne. (Not the place for a dip in summer!)
The Koonung Creek Trail joins the Main Yarra Trail near Bourke Rd in the west and currently terminates at Springvale Rd in the east. According to Bicycle Victoria, the trail will be extended to meet the Mitcham - Frankston Bikeway when East-Link is completed.
