Geocache Description:

The cache is situated close to a monument dedicated to the first Pleasant Creek Hospital which was built on this site in 1859. It was moved to Stawell 2 years later but the monument marks the spot. Check out the marks left in the stone from the nearby Mt Difficult quarry. It is the remains of the plug & feathering technique used to quarry the stone.
