Tractor Boys Traditional Cache
craignealuk: Yes they trashed it, I think someone was stealing firewood from the area when they discovered it. I feel it’s best to archive the cache as the area is no longer safe or suitable for it to safely remain undisturbed. Thank you to all those geocachers that have enjoyed finding it and to those that have entrusted their trackables to it. I hope BFG' MF Activa 7245 Combine was safely on it's way to another cache before the cache was destroyed. Kind Regards Craig Neal

Cache is close to Ipswich Town Football Club (also known as
Ipswich, The Blues, Town or The Tractor Boys) are an English
professional football club based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Area is quite
flat and green. Very close to the the cache is not really suitable
for wheelchairs but pushchairs should be ok. Approach can get a
little muddy after rain, but still firm.
Original contents were : log book and pencil, McDonalds ladybird
toy, two new balloons, Armani perfume(sample). The club was founded
in 1878 but did not turn professional until 1936, and were
subsequently elected to join the Football League in 1938. They play
their home games at Portman Road in Ipswich. The only fully
professional football club in Suffolk, they have a long-standing
and fierce rivalry with Norwich City in Norfolk, with whom they
have contested the East Anglian Derby well over 130 times since
1902. In fact the very same day the cache was placed Ipswich Town
won the Derby, congratulations to them.
