This is the tenth in a series of local landmarks started by
mgbmusic. I hope it is up to his standards.
This landmark has been around since I've been in the
neighborhood and then some, and is a favorite of locals and
non-locals alike. I've been near here a lot lately, and love the
people-watching in this area. It's proximity to the expressway,
ample street parking, and public transportation access help to make
it a very popular spot for lots of folks. The trademark logo out
front is unmistakeable.
The cache container is different than others in this series, but
still a very traditional hide, and just like my other LL cache if
you've hunted #7. The cache is not placed right in front of the
landmark, but is located directly kiddy-corner. I felt this one
would have a longer life with the current placement.
The hint is a dead giveaway, and I'd prefer that you use it
instead of getting caught searching high and low for this one and
compromising the cache. There are TONS of spots near GZ where I
could have hidden this one. You'll most likely find muggles within
15-20 feet of you no matter what time of day you attempt this one,
although they'll probably pay no attention to you whatsoever.
Coords were taken with a Garmin GPSr on a chilly spring day with
+/- 20 feet accuracy. Please let me know if you pull better coords,
and I'll update the page.
