Geocache Description:

A nice view of the south end of the Bolsa Chica wetlands.

This micro cache, overlooking the south end of the Bolsa Chica wetlands is located in Harriet M. Wieder Regional Park. This park, first opened in 2004, will when fully completed provide a trail link between Huntington Beach Central Park and Bolsa Chica State Beach. A sign says that the park is officially open 6AM to sunset, but it seems to be accessible 24 hours a day. Please be careful not to drop the cache when retrieving or replacing it. Room for very small trade items only. You will need to bring your own writing instrument. 07/07/08 - After reading some logs, I felt that I should add that there is no need to trample any vegetation to reach GZ. There are several small paths through the bushes - the easiest route is probably to follow the fence line from either the parking area or the grassy area. You do not need to hop any fences either.
