As you can tell from the name, this series is in the Old Furnace
Wildlife Area. This wildlike area contains 1991 acres....so be
prepared to return here for future caches.
This area is open for hunting. Access to this cache is allowed
on SUNDAYS ONLY from SEPTEMBER
1ST to FEBRUARY 15TH each year,
AND during SPRING WILD TURKEY
SEASONS. Hunting Season information can be found at

Chapter 1 - The Beginning. In a book an interesting first
chapter whets your appetite, leaving you craving more. Hopefully
this cache fits that description.
This cache takes you into a young forest. Although there are no
defined trails for Chapter 1, the woods is open and walking to the
cache should present almost no problem after you get past the edge
of the woods (choose your own entry spot!).
Like most of the trees, the cache is small.
