Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current Geocaching Guidelines.
If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

The cache is a nice hike, less than 1 hour from the main trail head in West Wing Mountain. If you park at the school, the hike is about 1 hour if you take your time. The trail is very nice until you get higher, then be sure sure have your good trail shoes! It gets tricky in some places. Our seven and four year-old boys made it just fine - but beware, there are some rocky ledges.
The cache container is a Jif peanut butter jar. The original contents are a log book, pencil, rosary, golf ball, tees, Melan Heduk Colorado Avalanche hockey card, Estes Park key chain, Sun Health Hospital key chain and a dollar for shopping! This cache is in memory of our father, grandfather and father-in-law who loved the mountains, CU Buffs, golf, his faith, hockey, Estes Park Colorado, family and living life. We miss you papa!
