Coordinates will take you to Odenville's Liberty Cemetery. Here
you will find the family memorial marker for Forman Austin Mize,
WW1 seaman who disappeared along with the entire crew of the U.S.S.
Cyclops in the Bermuda Triangle in 1918.
The loss of the Cyclops, a naval collier (coal and fuel tender),
and her crew of 309 souls, is among the earliest reported missing
vessels in the Triangle. Although many dispute the cause of her
disappearance, no trace of the vessel has ever been found.
Using information available on the memorial stone, you should
easily be able to obtain coords for the nearby cache, a small
lock-n-lock container, by following these instructions:
1. Beginning with original coords: N33 41.AAA W086 23.BBB
2. Add half of Mize's father's age at death (years) to coords
AAA. Then add 2 to the total. These are the final North coords.
3. Subtract Mize's mother's age at death (years) from coords
BBB. Add 9 to the total. These are the final West coords.
