Spanish Castle Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The story behind this place is that it used to be an old saloon called the Spanish Castle, back when the cranberry bogs and bog ore furnaces were popular in the area. All that is left are a few walls, and the old entrance facing the roadway. From the cache location, if you take the path to the east, you will pass some other old foundations down towards Cedar Creek, and a great swimming spot. If you bring a dog, make sure they're up to date with their flea and tick meds. Small items for trade in this cache. Enjoy!
