Geocache Description:

A quick and easy Traditional cache in the churchyard of St Peter's Bucknell, with kind permission of Revd Margaret Mullins. Please respect the 'locals' during your visit and please refrain from walking accross any graves or memorials. Enjoy the peace of this pretty church.

We will be placing a more detailed description of the church and its history at a later date but here is your little snippett of tittilation to be going on with.... The twentieth century has seen its fair share of interesting rectors at St Peter's, one being the scholarly bachelor Edward Norris. Living in the mid 1930's, he was almost the last to visit this parish on horseback and fittingly died whilst doing so. So strong was his loyalty that he requested his horse should never leave the village. His horse is buried, somewhere at the back of the Trigger Pond Pub. So, if you hear a whinney or the sound of hooves, its not necessarily a 'living' horse.....Mwuaaaaaahahaha.
