Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches hidden along Fisherman’s Lane, which runs between the villages of Aldermaston and Padworth. Each cache contains part co-ordinates for a final cache called ‘Great Fishers’

From the cache site, there are nice views of Padworth House, which was the 18th century home of the military Darby-Griffith family. It is now an international residential college for girls.

Recommended parking is at the start of Fisherman’s Lane in Aldermaston, opposite The Hind’s Head Public House. There is limited parking at the end of Fisherman’s Lane but I wouldn’t recommend this unless you drive a 4x4. Some of the series may also be accessed from Mill Lane.
