There are a couple of ways to approach this cache. If you choose the right one, it is a fairly flat walk most the way. If you choose another approach, the terrain is steeper. Edited to add……… I am the owner of this cache but since they stopped vehicle traffic up to Knox mountain I am unable to maintain them anymore. I have three caches in total on this mountain and will have to disable them if they get trashed in the near future.
We named this Chipmunk Bunk because we saw tons of the little critters very near the cache location. This cache is in a tobacco container. We have filled it to the brim with small but new items. We have come to realize that anyone can get some decent stuff at very reasonable prices from Walmart and the Dollar stores. So, we are kindly asking that you trade new, trade even, or trade up! If we all make an effort to do a little upgrading on some of the caches we find, we can add even more fun to the hunt! Please take time to enjoy the view and the little guys! PLEASE NOTE: If you take a different path than we did when we originally placed this cache, the terrain rating goes up to about a 2 1/2! So, choose wisely! The first choice is not always the easier!
