This is a spot I found while
scouting the area for another cache placement and I decided it was
perfect for a cache.
Parking is available in
either of the two locations listed in the additional waypoints
section. The choice is up to you but neither way will give you a
distinct advantage. This location is not accessible by trail unless
you happen upon a game trail. Do NOT attempt to approach this cache
from Raymond Rd. or you will be sorry. Once you get into the woods
a bit it will open up and be smooth sailing to the cache. Terrain
is at most a 2.5 star until the last 20 feet.
I have not added a child
friendly attribute one way or the other. They should be fine hiking
to the cache but they should not attempt to retrieve it. Likewise
attempting to retrieve the cache in winter or after rain will most
likely result in a broken bone or two. The only special equipment
required for retrieval is bravery and perhaps a
buddy.
You are under no obligation
to seek this cache. If you don't like what you see when you get
there turn back there are other easier caches. Now that I have all
that out of the way I will add that it is not really as bad as I
have made it sound but I would rather be sure you are warned in
advance.
A few other notes to
would be seekers:
1. Please keep in mind that this cache is located in PA State
Gamelands #191. Use caution, wear blaze orange during hunting
season, and be sure to follow Pennsylvania Game Commission
Rules and Regulations.
2. There may by thorns and some wet spots depending on your
approach.
3. Take it easy if driving on Morgan road. It can be pretty rough
in a few spots. Also be sure to park ONLY in one the small
gamelands lots listed in the additional waypoints section and NOT
on the road.
Best of luck and good
caching.

Mike
