Geocache Description:

Bison Tube

This cache is located at Trussville's historic Munger Mill, a 130 year-old grist mill located off Highway 11. Built in the 1870's, the mill stands next to a cement spillway where water once poured over the mill's water wheel. For 40 years beginning in the 1920's, Munger Mill and the surrounding land was part of the YWCA's Camp Munger girls' camp, where the dammed-up creek waters served as a swimming area.Today, the mill is privately-owned and is located on private property. The cache is located at a roadside pull-off near the mill. It is not necessary to trespass on the property to retrieve the cache.
