Cinco de Mayo ("5th of May" ) is primarily a
regional and not an obligatory federal holiday in Mexico. The date
is observed in the United States and other locations around the
world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.
But in Mapleton's North Park this year we'll be having a Geocaching
Get-together, it's a rather relaxed gathering, come and hang out,
trade stories, make friends, visit with friends, oh, and we'll have
a cache-dash game as well.
We'll be meeting at the park around
5:30-6:00pm and the cache-dash will start at 6:30pm.
Bring some snacks or drinks if you want to
and just come enjoy everyone's company.
