This cache is named after it's Human hotel neighbor and what
happens to it at night. Use this cache for those Travel Bugs and
coins you would like to send out to travel but don't have the time
to do it yourself, or just a trade off for passing cachers. Located
right off of US29, and US 460 it should be an easy pick-up/drop-off
location. It is going to be well stocked to start off, it would be
nice to keep it that way.
After some questions to the locality of the cache, I have done
some research into the zoning of the area. As of April 8, 2008, the
City of Lynchburg has put the zoning request, to add more dorms and
ski slope on the mountain, on hold due to watershed on a Virginia
and federal regulated level, traffic problems, and many other
issues impacting the area. So, enjoy the cache and I will be
keeping an eye on this closely. Thank you for your concerns!
June 13, 2008:Lynchburg city council has
approved the rezoning of the cache location. Because of this, I
will be temporarily disabling this cache soon and relocating it. I
will be looking for a new home for this cache and will hopefully
have more luck with the TBs! Thank you everyone who has visited
this location! (except for the TB thief)
July 21, 2008 It's official, the location of
this cache will be turned into a synthetic, year round, ski slope.
Don't ask me how but it is going to happen. As posted previously,
this cache will be disabled within the next two weeks. Hopefully it
will find a new home soon.
