Geocache Description:

In the summer the poison ivy here is horrible, cachers beware. The cache can be accessed by parking at the suggested coordinates and walking along Rt. 104A to the trail. Don’t go up the hill on 104A; just follow the river till you get closer. In the summer you may park at the bottom of the hill.

The cache is located on the original Highbridge Road. There are no signs for this road, it is no longer used. It has reverted to just a path along the Lamoille river. The USGS monitors streams all over the State of Vermont and across the Nation. At any time of the year you can log onto the USGS web site and find how high or low your favorite stream is for the best canoeing or kayaking. The USGS provide remote real time updates for most of the larger streams in Vermont, like the Lamoille, Winooski and the Otter. The website is worth a visit. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/vt/nwis/rt CITO, lets keep our streams, trails and roadsides beautiful.
