Katie's Scalextric Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

katiegremlin: As I have limited time to maintain my caches, I have decided to archive this (and my other local caches), giving others the chance to place new caches in the locality.

I will remove the container within the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for all of the visits and logs.

Geocache Description:

Another cache & dash, which I’d intended to launch at the end of 2007. Three and a half months after placing it, I’ve finally got round to making it live. Such is the life of a teacher – no time for anything else. Again, this was inspired by Superted’s request for simple caches. The A45 – what is its purpose? Well, in the days before the Motorway system (and implicitly the Motorway Mayhem series), this was possibly the main route linking London to England’s second city (I can hear the Manchester claims in my ear). These days, it seems to be a track for boy racers in their souped-up motors. That is, unless the M6 is closed because of an incident. So gaze down on those ‘boys' on the ‘road with a view’, and believe that you have the controls. Yes, besides a train set, I once owned a Scalextric too. I leave it to your imagination. The cache is a camoed small food container - BYOP. Naturally, don’t expect to be able to access it from the clearway. You can park unhindered, almost next to the cache. Leave space for tractors and the like. Updated terrain rating to 1.5, as it's not that wheelchair friendly, though far from impossible.
