The Salt Creek Valley runs between the Hunte Parkway and Wuest roads. It begins in upper Eastlake and runs on down through Otay Valley to the bay.I've hidden a series of caches which begin near Olympic Parkway and go southwest within a mile or so of the 125 Freeway bridge. You can drive the road along which the caches are placed near, if the gate on the Wuest side is open or you can ride a bike. The best side to ride bikes from is the Hunte Parkway side. Or, you can walk which is best done beginning near the Otay Lake Park. Good hunting and be ever watchful for the snakes. You'll have to cross the stream and double back on the trail running along the west side of the stream to get to the cache. Elevation 299 ft.
