Especially when mopsy critter was in her preschool years, we often played recordings of children’s music in our home. This cache series honors five musicians who have brought fun, silly songs and a love of music to the children of Yolo County and the region. To ensure that this collection is non-commercial in nature, the artists are not named in the description. The cache is related to Children’s Musicians of Davis: Coda, a sixth cache whose coordinates are derived from information in the first 5 caches (“CMD 1-5”).

Be sure to write down the info from CMD 1-5 to solve Children’s Musicians of Davis: Coda.

Though the title of CMD4 seems to reference Shakespeare, it’s some more contemporary creative folks we’re looking to honor here. This fourth installment of the Children’s Musicians of Davis cache series honors an institution, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2009. Described on its website as “California’s longest-running, year-round, amateur musical theater company,” this group’s “Young Performers” productions have been a favorite of our family since we moved to Yolo County.

Don’t forget to write down two numbers at the top of the logbook, if you want to also find the puzzle cache, Children’s Musicians of Davis: Coda.
