Cache hidden on a small mountain to the North of Cripple Creek,
Colorado.
This cache is an ammo can with an orange lid. The best place to
park is at the Gold King Mountain Inn on the North East side of
town. From there, look to the NW and the closest hill to you, that
is the one you need to head towards. There is an old rusty bus
sitting on this hill as well. I have no idea how it got there.
Looks as if it's been there for years. Bring some water, good
shoes, and pants. Watch out for big holes. From the Holiday Inn,
the Cache is about .4 miles away. Not too far. The altitude at
Cripple Creek is just below 10,000 feet. I'm from Oklahoma and had
I climbed the same hill here, I would have been fine, but I thought
my lungs were going to explode climbing this hill. Good luck and
once you find it, relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the Rockies
and Cripple Creek!
