Geocache Description:

Placed on a hill beside an old water reservoir located in a residential neighborhood in Cabo San Lucas. Elevation is 70m. Terrain is undisturbed with some rocks and natural as many varieties of Cactus grow nearby.

The cache is a grey container with a screw on lid. Inside is a Notebook, Pen, Scallop Shell, Pencil, various Coins, plastic Dolphin, Fishing lure (no hook), red Gummy toy, Baja Button and a few other goodies. The location offers a great view of the Pacific Ocean, Lovers beach (sometimes a cruise ship) & town. It is in the middle of a natural area in a generally American owned neighborhood - yet it still feels like you are in the desert since these homes are spaced apart with large lots. You can drive near the cache, or hike to it if desired. Parking is available anywhere along this dirt road, but the minimum distance to walk/hike to find the cache is at least 100m. Best way to access this area is turn from the Mex1 business access road “Right” (beside los patios hotel) or “Right” (after the Modelorama building). This road is dirt and has slight washboard as it climbs, it is U shaped so you can park at the top (the top of the U - is where the reservoir is and offers direct access into this area ). Pay attention to some old barb wire strung near the path just before the reservoir & some drainage ditches near the road.
