The cache is in a cylinder type container with a screw top lid. It is 6 inches high and 4 inches wide. The cache is filled with various small useful items. Have fun!!Located in Clark Community Park, School house Rd, Old Saybrook, CT.
Cache is located about half way through the red loop trial. The trail begins somewhat smoothly, but eventually turns rocky and riddled with tree roots. Park at the parking lot for the park which is at a sports-field. There should be a trail map at the head of the trails.
Update: After 9 years, we went back to check on the cache (without a GPS) and I was surprised that I could not find it. There has been a lot of changes in these woods primarily downed trees, overgrown shrubs, etc.. I have removed the hint as it no longer applies. From what I'm told, it's still there, so use your GPS for this one. Happy Geocaching!
