The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project by the Northwest Ohio Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. I decided to copy that indicator for our cemetery caches to highlight cemeteries in the area.
Please be respectful of the area, and observe the posted hours which are sunrise to sunset.
This cache is on the grounds of the Trinity Anglican Church, which includes a cemetery with many very old headstones. Take a few minutes and wander back in time as you read some of the names and dates.
There is also a Historical Monument to Archibald Lampman, who was widely regarded as Canada's finest 19th-century English-language poet. Lampman was born in 1861 in Morpeth, just a few kilometers west of here.
The cache is a camouflaged peanut butter sized jar with room for small trading items.
FTF prize is a $1.00 Tim Horton's Certificate.
Happy hunting
