Geocache Description:

This building was the 1st Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana.
It was started in 1915 and opened in 1917. It was owned and operated by Flavius J. Witham. In 1935 they started another building next to this one and moved in now where the Rx store is. This building then became a nurses residents for single women who where nurses and worked at the Hospital.. The Hospital then again expanded in 1962 and once again in 1978.. Then it outgrew the area where it was and was moved and opened north of town. The area where the hospital was , was then torn down for the RX now. If you ever get a chance to go inside this building for some reason please take time to look at the beautiful wooden stair case that still stands in the building even though it is offices now.. The cache is behind this nurses residents building in the parking lot where there is lots of room for parking.. It is a match safe container with $1.oo FTF...
