Geocache Description:

This cache was placed before JAG's 2008 CITO at Pickwick in honor of many who before us donated their time and efforts to construct, preserve, and maintain this beautiful area.

This cache is located near a picnic area directly across from the location that the Pickwick Belle is docked when not in use. The Pickwick Belle is an authentic river paddleboat that was brought to the area in the fall of 2007. It offers many cruises throughout the year ranging from educational, historical, and dinner cruises. It is a great experience to go back in time, move at a slower pace, and enjoy the river and lake as so many have before using this historic form of transportation before our lives began moving at a much faster pace.
