Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the Jarrett Lane Memorial Bridge just outside of Narrows, Virginia.

Jarrett Lee Lane was one of the 32 victims on the Massacre at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007. He grew up in Narrows, Virginia and loved to play in Wolf Creek. Mrs. Luvburds read about his memorial, which was dedicated one year after the Massacre. We did not know Jarrett, but we are part of the Hokie Nation. We have set up this cache in remembrance of Jarrett and all of the other lives that were lost that day. We also wanted to bring attention to the memorial, as it was placed in a small town and had a very small ceremony. (Many people who live around this area may not even know about it.)

The drive to this cache is beautiful. The bridge and it's surroundings are also amazing! Stay and explore a little bit.

(Be careful of the muggles who live around the bridge.)
