Geocache Description:

Tab lock box near the corner of the Mourne Wall on Long Seefin in the Mourne Mountains. A great cache for anyone with kids who enjoy a scramble up the hills but can't walk too far without complaining!

There are few ways you can approach this cache - via Round Seefin - The path to Round Seefin is located at the bend in the road. If you are leaving the car please do not block any of the gateways. Follow the path and cross over a stile and make your way to the top of the hill. There is a quick way up by following the wall - but when the braken is in full growth this can be tough. A more gentle approach is to follow the path towards the quarry and it bends round to the top of the hill.

Near the top of the hill you cross over another stile. Follow the path round to the top of the hill and follow the wall on towards Long Seefin.

Two other alternative approaches - one via the Waterworks path at Dunnywater or if you look carefully there is a path in between these two approaches that runs up beside a number of houses. There is a small parking space at the end of this path and from there you can follow the forest path, turn right over the stile and you can see the corner of the Mourne wall.

You will know you are close to this cache when you arrive at the distinctive corner of the Mourne Wall, a large obelisk like structure.

The cache is about 75m from the corner of the wall - look for the obvious rocky outcrop.
