Cache is located off a hiking/biking trail at Ft. Duffield
I have been to many, many amusement parks over the years. A good amusement park promises thrills, spectacular heights, cold water splashes, lots of walking (and waiting), crowds, expensive admission and greasy expensive food.
As I have been out geocaching recently I realize that amusement parks have lost some of their appeal. I think geocaching is better than amusement parks.
Here at Ft. Duffield you can find spectacular heights, views of the Ohio and Salt Rivers, rushing cold creeks with beautiful waterfalls, wildlife, hills and forests with lots of trails (and off trails) to explore, a historic site to view, quiet and solitude or the companionship of friends, water and trail mix if you remembered to bring it and all this is free.
