Naselje Miklavz se nahaja juzno od mesta Maribor. Kraj je bil prvic pisno omenjen leta 1202. Ime je dobil po zavetniku cerkve svetem Miklavzu. Cerkev je bila veckrat prezidana, kar se lepo vidi po restavriranih oknih in drugih detajlih.
Miklavz is a settlement located south of Maribor. The place was first mentioned in 1202. The name derives from Saint Nicholas (sveti Miklavz), who is a patron saint of the church. The church has been rebuilt many times. Different stages can be observed on its facade.
